| Full Description | Badge created for attendees of the IMechE Summer Meeting held in Glasgow in 1948. It is noticeably smaller than pre-1940 badges. It is round and silver coloured metal. The outer edge is blue and contains the Institution's name and the year. The centre contains the IMechE symbol of a chained horse leaping on the globe. The location is an additional blue tab at the bottom. |
