| Full Description | Badge created for the attendees of the IMechE Summer Meeting held in Birmingham in 1927. It is a circular badge with a needle pin back fastening. The metal is gold-coloured with a blue band around the edge containing the name of the Institution and smaller blue banners at the bottom containing the year and location. The centre shows the crest of the city of Birmingham - a shield with blue, yellow and red with an arm holding a hammer at the top and flanked by a man holding a hammer and a woman holding a paint palette. There is a small red banner with the motto 'forward'. |
