| Full Description | Badge created for attendees of the IMechE Summer Meeting in Canada in 1932. The badge is made from a gold-coloured metal and in the style of a pendant hanging from a safety pin. The medallion is oval shaped with an outer rim in light blue, a middle yellow background and a central square in dark blue which contains the name of the Institution, location and year. On the outer band on the left is a shield with the symbol of Quebec (three maple leaves, a lion and two fleurs-de-lis) and on the right is a shield with the symbol of Ontario (maple leaves and a Union Jack). At the bottom is a Tudor rose and at the top is a maple leaf. |
