Biography |
Hancock (1882-1959), sometimes known as Albert "Joey" Hancock was born at Kingston-upon-Thames and was a Mechanical Engineers Pupil in Lowestoft. He was a Draughtsman at Wolseley Tool and Motor Car Company and in 1905 he joined Herbert Austin when he formed Austin. From 1919-41 he was Austin chief designer. He died at Bromsgrove in 1959. |
