IAE President's gallery
Big motor history names are included in the IAE's alumni of President's.
They include Frederick William Lanchester (the automotive and aeronautical pioneer), Sir Herbert Austin (of the The Austin Motor Company), Laurence Henry Pomeroy (light alloys pioneer) and William Alfred Tookey (gas engine advocate). Contemporary obituaries written for IMechE are included where they exist (if an obituary etc is from elsewhere it says so in the description).
