22 May. Draft programme of meetings, 1963-1964.

24 Jul. Draft policy statement on objectives of Engineering Institutions Joint Council (EIJC), proposed  Charter of Incorporation. Concerns over Charter for Production Engineers. Thoughts on proposed Common Institution Examination (three institutions joint paper). Report to the Council from the Ad Hoc Committee on Branch Structure (including statistics, charts and a map of regions).

23 Oct. Discussion on the promotion of interest in mechanical engineering. EIJC, Aims of the Joint Council and Financing of the Joint Council's Activities.

20 Nov. Report from the Eighth Conference of the European and United States Engineering Conference (EUSEC), including amendments to the Memorandum of Organization.

11 Dec. Discussion reported from the Allen Panel on Technicians.
