Personal papers and general correspondence

This collection contains correspondence sent by George Stephenson to Joseph Cabry, John Watson, Edward Cook, John Thomas William Bell, W. Hutchinson, and John Locke. It also includes a booklet providing an insight into measurements and materials associated with a railway; copies of the last will and testament of Stephenson; and letters concerning his home at Tapton House, Derbyshire.
