London and North Eastern Railway engine on the tracks, on its first run leaving London King's Cross for Doncaster, pulling 550 tons in weight train. It was the powerful passenger engine in Britain. The locomotive weighed over 165 tons and was built specially for the East Coast services where there are steep gradients, 21 Aug 1936.
