The last of the hand written Council Minutes. Meetings held at the Institution headquarters, 19 Victoria Street and then Birdcage Walk, our new and current headquarters. Items of note include: discussions on fitting out the new headquarters, alongside considerations to loan out the Lecture Hall; the Steam Engine Research Committee erect machine at King's College, London; and a request (declined) to the Prince of Wales to perform opening ceremony at new premises.
