Description	Replying that he has no "flourishes to my name" and uses Geo Stephenson. Comments that he received a Belgian knighthood and is a member of the Geological Society. He also gives his reason for his refusal to be elected to the Royal Society and the Institution of Civil Engineers. Stephenson refers to giving his consent to act as President to "a highly respectable mechanics institution at Birmingham" (being the Instution of Mechanical Engineers).
