Description Inscribed '12 passenger engines built by Thomas Hackworth, Newcastle for the London & Brighton Railway, delivered from 1846-1848. An order was also given in Nov 1846 to E B Wilson & Company, Leeds to build 10 more engines to the same plans. These were countermanded and in place a new engine was ordered to be designed. This was the Jenny Lind'. Scale 1 1/2 inches: 1 foot.
