The first giant gyro tiller in England, with owner C Rayner, Foulness Island near Southend.
An acre could be ploughed and harrowed in an hour. Seven powerful electric lights on the machine enabled night work to be carried out. Many of these machines were used in wheat growing areas of Russia. An area of 10' 6'' (wide) is covered at each journey and the work of five horseploughs is done by the machine, 15 Nov 1932.
