Trinity Pumps Company

Lawrence Hathaway, Member of IMechE, established Trinity Pumps Company in Gobowen. The company produced floating pumps which were first used in fire engines and then cars. They were related to Coventry Climax Engines (L Hathaway Ltd), where Hathaway worked during the Second World War. Engine tests and workshops were based at Pentre Wern Works.

Hathaway also raced cars and took part in Le Mans with Stirling Moss in 1955, both feature in the photographs - as do Pentre staff.
