Triplane: Brooklands

A Groupy type triplane. There is also a double portrait of de Bolotoff and a lady sat in a motor car- probably Rosalie Selfridge or one of de Bolotoff's sisters.

Whilst living at The Priory, Reigate de Bolotoff built a large Goupy type triplane at Brooklands. It was blown over during taxiing trials, was damaged and abandoned. One of the images is post a crash. It was possibly constructed for de Bolotoff by Voisin in France and brought to Britain by boat.
