Sir Frederick Henry Royce

Royce's notebook contains rough sketches and calculations for automobile designs. The schemes are largely for foot-operated brakes used in the 2-cylinder 10 hp Royce automobile. The marketing of this vehicle commenced Royce's business alliance with Charles Stewart Rolls (1877 -1910), which resulted in the formation of  Rolls-Royce Ltd. Sketchbook preface by George Tilghman Richards, Leading Draughtsman at Royce Ltd, 24 October 1936.

His IMechE membership form is also included.
