Auto-Union-DKW motorcycles
International record week on the German motor-road between Frankfurt-on-Main and Darmstadt. The extreme design of these machines gives them the appearance of enormous drops of liquid which have been frozen. The machine on the left is a combination model, but owing to the great speed at which it travels. ballast replaces the sidecar rider, 28 Oct 1937.
